100th Anniversary
About Jamboree Contigents
Finland
We were 211, leaders and boys together, from practically all parts of Finland. The boys were in age from 15 to 19 years. Our contingent was divided into five troops and placed in the following sub-camps: Oineis, Aegeis. Hippothondis, Cecropis and Leontis.

Our Headquarter in sub-camp Delphi was made up of the following:

Contingent Leader, Ake Romantschuk; Asst. Contingent Leader, Jha Sipila; Secretary, Olli Arrakoski; Surgeon, Asko Kahanpaa; Programme, Kyosti Iknonen; Information, Jarmo Porola; Finance, Henrik Wirzenius; Quarter Master, Pyry Ruokonen.

Scouters for the five different Finnish troops were: Kari Tappola, in sub-camp Oineis; Markus Winter, Aegeis; Antti Alanko, Hippothondis; Kalerovo Savolainen, Cecropis; Reijo Ritala, Leontis.

Marathon Courier
Marathon1963.com was constructed during the period January-July 2013, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the 11th World Jamboree. It opened on August 1st, 2013, exactly 50 years from the opening at Marathon.
